I bought this ammo with the intention of using it to have a cheaper training round in comparison to the Federal 147gr HST. Federal advertises same Muzzle velocity between these two rounds at 1000fps. I chronoed this and the HST in 10 shot strings with my Lab Radar. Out of my SiG M17 (4.7in Barrel) I got: Federal 147gr HST Avg Velocity 1011fps, SD of 6.47 fps Federal AE 147gr GMJ Avg Velocity 1049 fps SD of 11.01 fps. I noticed more recoil out of this training round than the HST which I prefer as I will be training to heavier recoil. Out to 50 meters both rounds flew pretty close to eachother. I like this stuff and I just ordered another 500rd case.
What can I say Federal is a great brand & best ammo (in my opinion ). But… the service quality from FreeShippingAmmo is beyond amazing truly happy with there service.

I've been using this round for a long time with my PCC suppressed. It performs very well, and I continue to use this round with my suppressor.
It ran really well I’ve gone through 7 boxes now it still had a lot of un burnt powder even with a 4.5” barrel. But other than that I’ll be buying another 500 rnd box soon
I like this ammo because it is inherently sub-sonic without all the labeling of "sub-sonic", which drives the price per round up. It feeds well, it is reliable, and operates well in my suppressed Banshee. The one negative comment I can make is that burns somewhat dirty, and I have to clean more often after a day on the range.
