One thing about these high velocity slugs is they'll let you know right away if you're holding your shotgun wrong. I was a novice with shotguns when I first fired these beasts and I quickly learned, hey, don't hold it that way. Bruises are a good teacher. Now, after some trial and error, I've learned how to shoot these slugs without any bruising (plus, watching some Paul Harrell videos helped). Also, shooting these shells in an indoor range is a surefire way to get everyone's attention. It's sort of comical how everyone stops shooting to look and see what the heck you're blasting away with. LOL! In short, these shells are tons of fun to shoot. Just be sure to have your shotgun properly shouldered.
