I highly recommend the law enforcement 12 gauge two and three 8 pellet shotshell. It has excellent patterning at up to around 40 feet. The recoil is very manageable. And you don't get the flyers that you might get when you use the nine pallet. I highly recommend this for all applications.
This is hand down the best 00 buck you can buy, but it's extremely hard to find post covid. Most places only have the 9 pellet, which always has a flier. My ammo was delivered in under a week
